Be a Community investor in Once Incarcerated…Once INc,,. (Once IN). Once INcarcerated...Once INc... is a 501c (3) organization founded and directed by Tracie Bernardi and LaResse Harvey. We are a resource for people with our lived experience.
A 45-minute car ride helped us realize that WE NEEDED a Once IN. We needed a place where we could talk about our experiences, which intimately intertwined with our goals for success. We needed a place that could help us navigate reentry throughout our lives, not just the first two years after release. We needed a place where WE ARE SAFE from societal stigma.
Once Incarcerated Anonymous (OIA), was born out of that NEED. We can tell our stories WITHOUT having to explain why. We understand the need to crack jokes at a serious moment to ease the pain. We understand the need to be quiet and alone at times because LIFE gets literally too noisy.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 to support Once Incarcerated Anonymous and Participatory Defense (Justice Advocacy), two programs of at Once Incarcerated…Once INc… that has helped over 75 Justice Impacted families since August 2019!
